While I've also had a pleasant sales experience at another SoCal MINI dealer, that place's service department turned out to be a huge source of frustration and wasted time. Universal City MINI however is different. From Sales (Anthony & Isabel) to Service (Billy & Tommy), they all care about the brand's products and their customers' satisfaction. I highly recommend this place.
Not going to lie. I had a miserable experience at Nick Alexander with my first Mini (the car was great but the sales and service experience was absolutely horrible) and as a result, was seriously considering NOT leasing a second Mini three years later. I decided to give another dealership a chance and I have to say I am glad I did. Anthony at Universal City Mini made the process so much less soul crushing than it was three years prior. Our sales person Anthony Marshall was really nice, he was super friendly, spent a lot of time working with us, and gave us a great price - he got us to where we needed to get. Not too persuasive, but persuasive enough to get us to seal the deal then and there. We walked away really happy with our car, which is really awesome!

I walked in to lease a new 4 door Mini Cooper. Jason simply asked what I was looking for, didn't try to pressure or upsell me any extras. They found the British Racing Green 4 door I was looking for and a few days later I drove home a happy customer. Alex worked hard to get the price I wanted and Huw made sure I was happy with the results every step of the way. I'll definitely go to them again when the lease runs out. Everything was relaxed and easy, even the financing was a breeze.
I've bought a few cars. More than a few. I get the game - come in, fall in love with the test drive, then get caught up in the mumbo-jumbo with the salesman and the manager and the finance guy until your head is spinning and you just want to leave, but you can't because they took your keys and you're stuck. I have been bringing my 2003 Mini Cooper to this dealership frequently over the years for various major and minor services, and I have been familiar with all of the "regimes". The current one is by far the best! Huw is the new GM and along with Tommy as head of service, and Phil as my fave service adviser, have taken spectacular care of my vehicle for this latest visit. I needed four new tires and got the best price available, as well as a transmission issue that was taken care of and sorted out far beyond my expectations ...
After a a couple of horrible experiences with another Mini Dealer (South Bay), I called Universal Mini for help. Randy was a total Rock Star. He not only got everything fixed on my car, he had it done in less than 24 HRS. While the other dealer claimed parts were on back order and played games for weeks, he went above an beyond normal service. Thank you so much for all your help!

I had a great experience here and was really taken care of. Jeff Sellz went above and beyond to help me purchase my car. He worked with me and went the extra mile to make sure I got the car and even went out of his way to deliver it to me. I will never buy another car from anyone else and will make sure to tell everyone where to go when they need to buy a car.

I have always received friendly, informative and efficient service with each of my car transactions. He made certain that I received the same level of satisfaction with his sales team at Universal. Went in to look at the Clothing and stuff to jazz up my MINI. What a great selection - New Store and everyone there that I came into contact with had so much Energy.
